A pic is worth a thousand captions!

I am not sure if nuptial agreement overrides personal rights to privacy, but I am pretty sure this picture was taken by my husband without my conscious consent. Either way, several captions remain noteworthy. . ."The nut does not sleep far from the tree."
"Monkey see, monkey doo-doo"
"I guess arm cramps are hereditary."
"Do YMCA and call me in the morning."
"As a tactic for survival, Lily and Miko both learned to sleep in this defensive position to prevent Chadd from rolling over on top of them."

Feel free to post others! Happy slumbering (^_^)

Ice Carving Contest

Hi ho, Lily the boston reporting to you live from the iceberg contest. Let me tell you, it has been an exciting first round of the competition! The crowd is really going wild today even though the weather is freezing cold. Let's take a look at some of the contenders. . .This one has really been a crowd pleaser! Mommy thought it was "cat fish," but I think daddy was more on the mark with "tiger shark." Either way, it will take a bite out of the competition.
This iceberg, titled "jellyfish" also gained all-star attention. One point goes to the crustaceans. . .or whatever a jellyfish is.
I would now like to turn your attention to my news correspondent (and source of warmth), Daddy, who is one the phone with someone from work. . .this is Lily the boston, signing off from the iceberg contest!

If You Care about Pets, Please Vote!

Hello two-legged friends,

My mommy entered me in another pet photo contest (they desperately need to have a kid. . .or a life). However, this one is for a good cause so I guess it's okay.

The pet who gets the most votes will receive a $10,000 donation to the pet non-for-profit of their choice! Cool, huh? If I win, I want to donate my money to my friends at SNAP (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program). Mommy and daddy help them out sometimes, and they raise money to help spay and neuter pets of low income families to help prevent pet overpopulation. I think it is a really good cause and they were able to help over 10,000 dogs and cats in the Springfield area last year. Here's a link to their website: www.snap123.org

Oh, and mommy said if I win, the Bissell people will let me star in their advertisement! I hope Bissell makes bacon. . .

So please, if you have the time, vote for my adorable picture (because I'm in it) at the following link:
http://www.bissell.com/redirect.asp?page_id=47081&Pet=5018
It would make mommy really happy. And when she's happy, I get more treats!

Thanks again! Slobbers and licks,
Lily the stinky Boston Terrier
