The Weekend Crazies

It was party time this weekend at the Ok-Corral. There was a parade festival on Friday night and the fireworks festival Saturday night. Two hours of ear-drum bustin' good times! I was really looking forward to the fireworks finale (I was told it is a sight to behold) but did not get to see it because a damn typhoon came right in the middle of the show!I carried the American flag during the parade. I had to fight a Chinese girl for it and a Japanese woman made her give it back to me. Oh, the diplomatic irony. . .Warning: Plastics bags worn on your head during a festival will cause mild affixiation. . .but it makes the fireworks much more pretty!
